Here we sit on the brink of February. So much to look forward to! I am so excited to be at Spread the Love Market" on February 4th in Tualatin. There will be various vendors and makers and so many fun things to do! Have a fun day exploring the Market and walk away with some unique valentines, food, and experiences.
I really hope to see everyone in Tualatin! I will be there from 10 am to 4 pm. I can't wait.
PRE-ORDERS are open for heart ornaments! They are $30 and you can order them before the event to pick up on site. This saves you $5 in shipping. They are the same high quality hand drawn portraits on wood, that were available for Christmas, just a different shape. All pieces are varnished to protect the artwork. (I can squeeze in a few canvas portraits too, message me to see if I can fit your portrait in.) Example below:
I originally thought that this little heart portraits were awesome valentines, which of course they are. My heart would certainly melt if someone handed me this thoughtful, custom, personalized, artistic, emotional gift such as this. When I went to draw my demo, instead of choosing my Peanut chug, or my fluffy Monster dog, I decided to drawn my Rex (2008-2019.) Rex was my first pug love. He was a clearance puppy and my best friend for 10 great years. It occurred to me that these are also awesome memorial pieces that can be hung or placed with his ashes.
This month I have done a few liquid paint challenges on Instagram. They are just a good way for me to practice different painting techniques and keep myself from getting in a rut. I varnished a few pieces today and they will be up in my Etsy shop in the next few days.
