Yamhill County Showcase (and stuff)

Writer: Annie ArrigoAnnie Arrigo

Hello friends. Fall is upon us, and it is quickly turning in to winter. I wanted to give you a quick update on a few happenings.

First, one of my paintings was selected for the Yamhill County Artist Showcase at the Chehalem Cultural Center.

October 3 - December 22, 2023 in the Parrish Gallery

If you are interested in purchasing my mallard or other works of art on display you can contact the Chehalem Cultural Center: Galleries@ChehalemCulturalCenter.org or call 503-487-6883.

If you love this painting but it is not in your budget I do offer canvas prints of it in my Etsy Shop. As well as blank note cards.

I painted this mallard in the summer of 2022. I wanted to work on something with moving water, to challenge myself and deepen my skill set. I also wanted to stay in my niche of animal painting and this mallard felt very Oregon. Like most of my paintings it is done in acrylic paint and sealed in a gloss varnish. This is one of my larger canvas, 24" x 30".

PUG-O-WEEN

I have been very neglectful of this site and my blog. So I am behind on updates. October 28th, 2023 I was able to attend Pug-O-Ween benefiting the Pacific Pug Rescue. You may have noticed I have an excess of Pug art, cards and prints. I will make a donation to the Pacific Pug Rescue for all pug art sold or commissioned. Pugs are very close to my heart.

Hazel's House Holiday Bazaar

I was a vendor at the Hazel House Holiday Bazaar on 11/04/2023. I didn't quite meet the goal I had for donation. So I will continue to make donations on Cat and Kitten art sales through the end of the year to Hazel's House Rescue in Newberg, Oregon.

Thanks for reading-

Annie
